Dr. Rubino, who joined the faculty of Hanover in
2002, architects his course material to focus on
scientific reasoning, experimental design, data and
statistical analysis, heredity and evolution, and
plant taxonomy. His specialties include dating his-
torically built (antebellum) structures via tree ring
and plant identification study of their wooden com-
ponents. His research interests concentrate on plant
physiology and taxonomy.
