The Duggan Library Custom Search Engine pairs Google’s search technology
with the librarians’ expertise. The Custom Search Engine (CSE) searches
over 300 personally selected and reviewed websites that we have
identified in support of the Hanover College curriculum. All major
disciplines are represented, and the CSE includes access to a variety
of research materials, including:
Ready reference, quick facts, and statistics
Open access scholarly journals, and independent research agency
papers
Digital libraries and primary sources
Search Tips: the search engine follows the same rules as the regular
Google search engine. Keywords are automatically combined (automatic
"AND") and the use of quotation marks is recommended for
searching names and phrases ("William Shakespeare"; "global
warming").
