Services For Faculty
NEW! Information Literacy Workshops
The Duggan Library is now offering a series of workshops designed
to introduce faculty to the principles of Information Literacy,
and how to incorporate them into the curriculum. Workshop
schedule and presentation notes are available.
Journal Content Alerts
Many of the Library's electronic resources provide the option for
users to set up profiles to be alerted when new research in their
field or in chosen journals is added to the database. More information
about alerting options is available in the following documents (both
are PDF files):
Circulation Policies for Faculty
Faculty have term checkout of general stacks books with
two renewals. Term checkout will be Fall term, Winter term,
Spring term, or summer. This will allow faculty to keep an item
(unless it is recalled) for the majority of the year with only two
renewals to fuss with.
A maximum of 50 items charged out to an individual at any one time
will also be implemented at this time; however, items placed on
course reserve will not count toward this limit. If the maximum
limit is reached, some previously charged materials will have to
be returned before more items can be check out. If there are extenuating
circumstances where you will need to temporarily exceed the 50 item
limit please contact Victoria Bramwell or Ken Gibson so that we
can work with you to meet your needs.
