Other Circulation Services and Policies

Holds: You may place a hold on an item that is currently checked out by bringing the title and the call number to the circulation desk. You will be notified when the item is returned and may pick the item up at the circulation desk. Please inform the circulation desk worker if the item is no longer needed.

Microforms: The library has a digital microform reader/printer/scanner available in the first-floor copy room; printing (via the campus printing network) is $0.02 per single-sided page or $0.03 per double-sided page. Stand-alone readers (no printing) are located in the first-floor copy room and second floor by government documents.

Renewals: Materials checked out can be renewed before the due date, by phone, by email, in person, or by using "My Library Account".

Reserves: Materials placed on reserve can be checked out for use for the period of one hour, unless otherwise specified. Items on reserve may be checked out at closing time for use overnight, but must be returned to the library at opening the following day. Keeping in mind the needs of other students, fines are charged for overdue reserve items at the rate of $0.30 per hour per item for the first day, and $5.00 per day per item for any following days.
